Aww! Look at Booth checking up on Sweets! Booth misses him. And then, at the end, calling Sweets his little brother! I like how the dynamic between them is shifting just a bit. Normally, on a ride, Sweets would be the one trying to draw Booth out and Booth would be all business. Now, they seem to have switched roles. Sweets is growing up but it makes me sad. He’s so lost right now and seems to be detaching himself from the Squints a bit.
I know I’ve watched too many procedural crime shows when I watch a scene and critique the blood spatter. During the drive-by, there was a huge splat of blood on the windshield. Normally, when I watch a show, that’s associated with a head wound, in this case coming from front to back. The gang member was standing on the porch shooting into the side of the car. Then when Booth checked on them, the driver’s wounds didn’t seem to match the spatter.
Also, I’ve seen a LOT of gross things on Bones over the years but Cam pulling that skull’s face off was GROSS! I couldn’t look at it. Yuck!
Poor Javier! I had a feeling when they went into the interrogation room that the little boy was the killer but I assumed his mother knew and was trying to protect him. What a bitch! I’m glad he helped the investigation and Sweets is looking after him.

- “Okay. Unless one of us is already dead.” — Bones
